President Ed Wade

Consecutively serving as a Clearcreek Township Trustee since January 1978, Mr. Wade was the founding president of the Springboro Chamber of Commerce in 1976 and continues to serve as an honorary board member. Additionally, Mr. Wade served on the Warren County Regional Planning Commission and chaired the organization for many years.

He is a graduate of Springboro High School and a lifelong resident of Clearcreek Township.

Mr. Wade is a local small business owner, an active supporter of numerous Springboro sports programs, and an involved supporter of 4H throughout Warren County.

Vice President Jason Gabbard

Jason is a fifth-generation township resident.  He and his wife Traci, both Springboro graduates, live on the family farm with daughters Lydia and Charlotte.  

His focus is to continue to make the Township one of the greatest places to live in the Midwest.

Trustee Steve Muterspaw

A former teacher and business owner, Mr. Muterspaw was elected to a third term in 2021, effective 1/1/2022 - 12/31/2025.

He is an eighth-generation Warren County resident.  Mr. Muterspaw and his wife Susan, live on their family farm which is a favorite destination of their beloved grandchildren.

Mr. Muterspaw is proud to serve his community on the Board of Trustees and is the outreach director for Trinity Debt Management, a Cincinnati-based non-profit. In addition, he and his wife, Susan, find great satisfaction in being an active part of their church.

Fiscal Officer Russ Carolus

Fiscal Officer for the Clearcreek Community since July 2018, Russ was elected to a second term in 2023. Formerly a Finance Director for the City of Middletown (retired 2013), Russ continues to enjoy serving the community he and his family live in.

Russ can be seen hiking the trails in Patricia Allyn Park and Hoffmann Reserve. He has hiked across the State of Ohio on the Ohio to Erie Trail and has hiked 800 miles along the Buckeye Trail. Russ is halfway done with walking the Appalachian Trail.
